The Craft Potters Association aims to encourage the creation of fine works in studio ceramics, to promote their value in society and to foster the interest of the public in ceramic art. It is the national body representing ceramic artists in the UK. The Association was formed in 1958 by a small group of potters to promote interest in studio ceramics and has now grown to an organisation of some 1000 members.
